Condominium / Insurance needs to protect not only your property but also much more than your rent-a-car insurance.
Most condominium societies guarantee the structure and common area of the building, but the internal structure of each unit is the responsibility of the homeowner. If your condominium is destroyed, it is up to you to replace drywalls, flooring, cabinets, lighting fixtures and so on.
If you find that you are responsible for damage to a common area, keep in mind that your lovely new puppy will raise the lobby's Berber carpet. You may be responsible for repairing.
